🎮 Getting Started: What’s Round 1 All About?

Chapter 3 kicks off with a bizarre twist — you're stuck inside a goofy TV show. The world feels more like a retro RPG with puzzles and exploration, similar to Legend of Zelda. The main goal in Round 1 is to collect at least three keys (out of four possible), beat a boss, and score well in a mini-game. Performance matters, and more exploration = higher rank.

Getting the First Key

🟦 First Key – Puzzle Time Begins!

  1. Head Left and Down from the starting point.
  2. Solve the blue box puzzle by pushing the box onto the button.
  3. Go down and right to the next puzzle and encounter a QUIZ enemy — beating it gives you a "Q" item.

Second Puzzle:

  • Push the right crate up → right → down (don’t take the lower path, it’ll block the box).
  • Push the left crate left until it locks into place.
  • Ralsei transforms into a box — use him to finish the puzzle.
  • Be sure to grab the treasure below for bonus points!

🧟‍♂️ Enemies: How to Handle the Shadowguys

To spare the enemies (and earn more points):

  • Use Kris: Act → Boogie (this builds MERCY).
  • Use Susie / Ralsei: Magic → S-Action or R-Action (makes enemies TIRED).
  • Then, Ralsei → Pacify to finish the job.

🥐 Power Up! Get the Power Croissant

  • After the second puzzle, go up to find the Power Croissant.
  • This upgrade lets Susie break pots and pull weeds automatically — great for finding hidden paths and loot.

🧩 Sphinx Quiz Puzzle

  1. Defeat two quiz enemies and collect their “Q” items.
  2. Head to the top-right corner of the desert.
  3. Give the Qs to the Sphinx and answer the quiz:
  • Q1: Body
  • Q2: Pippins
  • Q3: Sword Magician

After passing the quiz, a new passage opens. Go left, let Susie smash through the pots, and grab Key #1.

Getting the Second Key

🌵 Second Key – Rescue Lancer

  • After getting the Power Croissant, head to the top-left.
  • Lancer is stuck in a cactus — stand on the red button, and Susie throws Ralsei to help.
  • Go down and left to find the oasis spring.
  • Use Lancer to dig up a treasure. Inside? Key #2.

Getting the Third Secret Key

  • Head to the southern area of the desert with all the cacti.
  • One cactus in the center is blushing.
  • Interact with it to reveal Key #3. Sneaky!

📬 Bonus Area: Secret Mailroom

  • Go to the southernmost room with four small pyramids.
  • Push the bottom-left pyramid to open a hidden staircase.
  • Inside is the Mailroom — nothing useful now, but keep it in mind for later.

Getting the Fourth Key

🛍️ Fourth Key – Just Buy It!

  • Head to the shop near the starting pyramid.
  • You can buy Key #4 for 250 points. Simple!

👊 Boss Fight: Lanino & Elnina

Once you’ve rescued Lancer and cleared the oasis, go to the middle of the map where the spring used to be. Time for a boss fight!

How to Win:

  • Select “I love TV” from ACT or MAGIC — repeat this 99 times (yep).
  • After a few rounds, they’ll ask whose attack you like best — choose “SHINE.”
  • Lanino powers up; keep dodging and healing.
  • Eventually, Elnina leaves, and Lanino gives up.
  • Your reward: Mooncloud Stone, which you’ll need soon.

Unlocking The Pyramid

  • Return to the starting pyramid.
  • Use your Keys and the Mooncloud Stone to unlock the main entrance.

🍳 Final Challenge – Cooking for S-Rank

Inside the pyramid is a chef mini-game and three battles. Here’s what you need:

  • Score well in the cooking game.
  • Earn at least a B rank or higher in all three fights.
  • Bonus: Getting all four keys helps bump up your final score.

If you do all that, you'll be rewarded with the Pink Ribbon — an item that increases TP gain from bullet dodging (even at a safe distance). Super handy!
